Guilford Training Update





We are proud to share a glimpse of our recent training session, where our dedicated volunteers practiced small-scale shuttle operations. This essential training helps us provide water to rural areas of Guilford that lack hydrant access, ensuring that we are always prepared to respond effectively to emergencies.

Our volunteers worked alongside our enthusiastic cadets, aged 14 to 18, who are part of our junior firefighter mentorship program. This initiative allows young individuals to gain valuable experience and training, paving the way for them to join the fire service once they turn 18.

The Guilford Fire Department is proud to consist of both career staff and a committed volunteer force, working together to serve our community.
