Guilford Firefighters Receive Certificates of Commendations

On March 30, 2021 at 18:16 PM, the Guilford Fire Department responded for a male patient who was found unconscious and unresponsive. Upon arrival, the patient was found to be in cardiac arrest. Guilford Firefighter's initiated care and provided the patient with advanced life support treatment. The patient was transported to the hospital for further care. The patient was discharged from Yale New Haven to a rehabilitation facility where he continues to receive treatment and care. The patient is expected to return to work within the next couple of weeks.
