Guilford Fire Department Hosts Vaccine Clinic
GUILFORD, Connecticut - The Guilford Fire Department hosted another vaccine clinic on Tuesday November 30th in the apparatus bay. Firefighters cleared out all apparatus to make room for chairs that were filled by people who were anxious to get their vaccine. Guilford Firefighters also took part to help with administering vaccines to awaiting recipients. The Connecticut Department of Public Health (DPH) and Griffin Health is working to reduce barriers to COVID-19 vaccination, particularly for Connecticut's hardest-hit communities. They are organizing mobile, pop-up clinics and Guilford was happy to help by offering a facility for vaccinations.
