Guilford Marine Firefighting Vessel Moves To The Next Phase

Today members of the Guilford Fire Department have agreed on a manufacturer for the proposed replacement marine firefighting vessel. Metalcraft Marine based out of Canada has been selcted to build the new fireboat. Captain Mike Shove, Firefighter/ Paramedic John Planas and Firefighter/Paramedic Peter Beauvais are now in the process of designing and submitting pre-built plans to Metalcraft Marine. The proposed build time for the vessel is six to nine months.
